Michael Monsoor

The RNC ran a video tonight of a Navy Seal who won the medal of honor after throwing his body on a live grenade to shield the rest of his unit from the brunt of the blast. He died about 30 minutes after the grenade went off. There was a line in the video which said something like “Michael Monsoor will never be forgotten.” I think we’d like that to be true. But outside his friends and family and the men that he served with, I doubt he’ll be remembered at all. I never heard about him till today and aside from the “This Week” In Memoriam feature I never see much about our dead servicepeople at all. Again, unfortunte considering how much I know about Britney Spears. (Smoking in front of a three-year-old…for shame.) But anyway, here’s one more google result for anyone looking for information about Michael Monsoor and his brave sacrifice.

I don’t know why I’m getting so many hits from this search, my blog is way more about the black mother’s foot in the ass.

Oh, I’m also getting mad traffic for people searching for “Katie Hoff sucks”

Odd google hit of the week

You know, that first thing wouldn’t even make the top hundred things I’d look for in a happy birthday text message.

Though, the number one thing really is that the text be sent on the actual birthday. And not at 11:59 pm the night before.

Number Two!
