LOS ANGELES – Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern both plan to sue the author of a new book that claims the two men shared a sexual encounter before Anna Nicole Smith’s death and worked together afterward to manipulate the media and maximize profits.

On the steps of the court, Birkhead said he was looking forward to having custody of baby Dannielynn. Howard K. A Bahamian court on Monday refused to prevent the release of DNA results that could reveal the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter.

A three-judge panel of the Court of Appeal rejected a challenge filed by Howard K. Stern, the lawyer-turned-partner of the Playboy playmate who died February 8 in Florida.

The body of Anna Nicole Smith was carried into a Bahamian church Friday in a mahogany coffin covered by a rhinestone-studded pink blanket as hundreds of people gathered outside to mourn the former Playboy Playmate and reality TV star.

As police watched in front of steel barricades, the coffin was carried down a red carpet, lowered onto a cart and wheeled into the white-columned Mount Horeb Baptist Church, whose pews were festooned with pink roses. Onlookers cried out “Anna! Anna!”
