Then maybe it seems like she's acquiescing to the father. - Because if someone doesn't really care about their religion being passed on to their children, then why bother raising the kid under any religion? Let the kid decide when they're old enough, without all the conditioned guilt crammed into them during childhood - Because if she doesn't care one way or the other, how come SHE gets to take Yom Kippur off? You don't care either, and you didn't get it off! Possible reasons:
