Where does the good go

Dear Proflowers

When I place an order, you should go ahead and process that order – even if it is done a month in advance cause if you don’t and the paypal money I used to place that order is just left idle in my paypal account, two weeks later, I will forget all about you and that flowers order and go ahead and buy my Brian Boyle jersey from a company that is smart enough to process that order immediately. And then a week after that when you are all “Dear Dawn, your paypal account did not process your flowers order because it has insufficient funds,” I will be all… huh? so I can just go ahead and cancel those flowers I so THOUGHTFULLY purchased three weeks ago cause now I’d have to use real money to buy them and that’s…um…

Yeah, I am a terrible terrible person AND THANK YOU PROFLOWERS SO MUCH FOR THE REMINDER.

Pout.

See??? This is why planning ahead is terrible!

You should have bought the flowers last minute like everyone else!

Really?? *That’s* the takeaway? I thought the lesson was “don’t do anything nice for anyone else. Just do nice things for yourself, that’s how Jesus wants it.”

  3. Astin Says:

Nonono. You have to do nice things for other people sometimes so they think you like them, so they will do even nicer things for you later! But only do it when you absolutely have to, not a month in advance.

YOU WERE SENDING ME FLOWERS?!?!?!? How thoughtful!!!

  5. Dawn Summers Says:

April: YES! Totally! And proflowers screwed it all up. I still want credit for the thought!

Astin: LOL. In totally unrelated news: remember who got you those awesome now or later candies! I hear she has a birthday coming up. *whistles*

  6. Astin Says:

Yah, those were pretty much all later, no now.

Just let me know when the last minute is, and I’ll get right on something.

  7. Dawn Summers Says:

    Hater.
