Cause it’s almost my birthday
And This is not April’s incessant mocking, I think I’m getting this phone.
Has anyone heard any drawbacks to the HTC Incredible? Or can any argument be made that the latest blackberry is just as good?
(Iphone is out of the question because AT&T bites it.)
UPDATE
Was just informed the Motorola Droid 2 is coming out next month, so I should hold off…

It’s expensive — latest blackberry is not as good, but if you don’t plan on using the web or taking pictures with it, it does not need to be.
As for a drawback you might actually consider, if you find yourself dropping your phone a lot, the blackberry is a whole lot sturdier and does not have the same potential to be rendered useless by a cracked screen.

I use the web and take pictures all the time!

I love when I am the justification for technology purchases. THANK GOD YOU’RE GETTING A NEW PHONE.
I’ve heard good things about this one. And good Lord do you need the camera upgrade….

I have an Incredible and I love it. Not everyone who does a lot of IM likes the touch screen, though.

I hate IM. It’s evil.

I work for Verizon, and one thing I can tell you beyond a shadow of doubt is there’s a heck of a lot of “evil” being sent every day over our network.

IM, G-chat, yahoo chat, facebook chat, telephones…they are all evil. Conversation needs to be limited to texts and tweets. And blog commenting.

Well, okay. If you have a keyboard now your limited conversation might be a little less convenient on a touch screen. I don’t have any problem, but I mostly use the phone as, well, a phone.

Yeah, that’s why I’m leaning toward to Droid 2 now.
