My mom calls to say that she’s buying me a new pair of sneakers for my birthday. Awesome, right?

    Surely a sign that it is time to go to Vegas and get a new pair of Liberace Sneakers. Ditch the old ones, get new ones from Mom, trip to Vegas for new Pinks. Best of both worlds, yes?
