TV News

Good News: Heroes and Flash Forward have been canceled. Yay!
Bad News: Chuck has been renewed (sorry Anwyn), Mercy has been canceled and so has Better Off Ted and Law & Order. Boo.

And yeah, I know Law & Order sucked with Jack as DA, but NBC could have at least let them get the record and *then* drop the axe. So. Boo.

    Have you been watching ‘V’?

  2. Dawn Summers Says:

Yeah. I still don’t know how I feel about it. I coulda gone either way. I hear it’s coming back for a season 2.

  3. Jamie Says:

I hear what you’re saying. Right now, it’s kind of coasting on good production values and decent acting. But pretty soon, it’s going to have to pull out some good plot twists. Last week’s moral ‘conundrum’ was boring as hell.

The only one I’m sad about is Better Off Ted (don’t watch any of the other mentioned shows except for Flashforward and I pretty much gave up on that when it had the long break.) Perhaps SciFi, oops, I mean SyFy (lame!) could pick up Better Off Ted.

I am enjoying the new Doctor Who and his companion Amy Pond. I was worried about two twenty-somethings playing the Doctor and his companion but so far I have not been disappointed.

Chuck needed to come back. There were so many unanswered questions, like “How many more fights can Sarah have in her underwear?” and…well, I’m sure there are other questions. (None that matter)

Heroes I won’t miss, although if they wanted to shoot a web-only exclusive that focused solely on the violent screaming death that Milo Ventwhatever’s character should have suffered three seasons ago, I would totally watch it.

  6. Dawn Summers Says:

hahah remember that time she had a naked fight in a shower with paris hilton ex-bestfriend? Oy…you know, maybe I’ve put my finger on why I dont like this show…

  7. F-Train Says:

    It’s back!

  8. Dawn Says:

    Yup. :)

  9. Gerard Says:

The remake of V is okay, nothing special though. I just re-watched a few episodes of the original series on SyFy, and there’s simply no comparison.

    They cancelled Mercy?

    Why?

    :(

  10. Dawn Summers Says:

After the whole Sonia/Dr. Kevorkian storyline I was kinda done with Mercy. So cliched, so unnecessary. Also, the addition of Dawson did NOT help!

  11. Gerard Says:

    I agree with you there.

I can’t think of any TV series or film that James Van Der Beek adds something to.

  12. Gib Says:

James Van Der Beek would definitely add something if he appeared on The Ultimate Fighter. I would totally pay money to watch Dawson vs. Kimbo Slice.
