Wow. So well done! A thumb and a half up. I deduct half a thumb because they went the safe route on a certain thing that is anathema in our culture, but if they were being true to the story, would have gone through with. I am being purposefully cagey because you should all see it.

It got off to a rocky start but once you got past the first two or three episodes it picked up steam. I kind of figured it out when one of the characters was killed at the docks. And I was sad when my favourite character was killed. Trying to keep it spoiler-free so I won’t say who these two characters were.

It was just a 13 episode, one time only midsummer replacement. Which is why it was so good! No BS filler or artificial stretching.
