Not so random question
Am I the only one who immediately stops reading any article that lists “know how to build a fire” as the number 1 thing “Everyone should know”? Look, if I am somewhere and I *must* build a fire to survive, so many things have already gone so horribly wrong that I already know I don’t even want to survive anymore.

Two problems with that list:
1) listing Build a Fire means that Hookup a home theater isn’t all that relevant.
2) no mention of Oral sex

Well, obviously if it had started with how to give good head, everybody would keep reading.

I totally agree with you. “How to survive a shark encounter” always makes me laugh too. Whatever has led to me encountering a shark probably renders it all a relief.

When your business is failing building a fire is very much about survival. You gotta be careful not to leave accelerants around, though.

The one about how to avoid being eaten by a shark is actually one of the practical bits of advice, IMO.
