Though I am quite awesome, I didn’t invent that word. It’s used to describe fashionistas who can’t afford to shop in this economy so they, um, shop less.
Hahahah I like the consensus that has developed. No, I did not ask for any of it and YES, I did choose! My officemate however, says I am “just one step above dumpster diver.”

Only if you had to “beg” for the samples.
If they were giving them out, willy-nilly and of their own free will, then that makes you a “frugal diner”.

Yeah, you’re a recessionista or something.

Recessionista? Oh god, please tell me you invented that word, because it’s awesome.

Sounds like me when I am low on cash … … I did that when I am at Manhattan Mall.

It depends. Did you have a choice as to which items to take? Because if you did, beggars can’t be choosers and you are therefore not a beggar.

“One step above” = “not.”
So, I don’t see the problem.

Oh, does your officemate talk much?
