Clinton eyes Asia for first trip abroad

Really? They had to mention the eyes? So if Clinton decides not to go, will the headline be “Clinton yellows out on trip to Asia”?

    No, “Clinton eyes trip abroad; Preference slanted toward Asia” might be racist. There is nothing racist about mentioning “eyes” and “Asia” in the same sentence.

    There’s a partly Chinese comic (name escapes this geezer) who talks about the “eye” slur and then takes his hands and makes his eyes round.

    Then there’s Margaret Cho (“We’re not chinks, we’re gooks, you ignorant shit!”).

    I don’t think that either comic would find the headline racist.
