Moral dilemma update
So there I am joshing around with the Scrabble geeks and playing speed games for fun when this white lady with a sweater tied around her shoulders and glasses walks up to me and says “Are you Dawn?” So I am all set to be “sorry, chica, see my website sasat.tv,” and she goes “You were supposed to play my daughter Hannah yesterday, but we were stuck because of the weather, do you mind playing a makeup game now? She’s been looking for you.” I fully turn around and beside the sweater tied around her shoulders lady is a girl, no taller than four feet, with freckles, curly red hair AND braces! DUDE! I was so all “NO, I don’t have a walkman. Leave me alone.”
“I can play now if you want,” the girl says.
UGH UGH! Stupid little faces.
“Okay.”
Nancy starts laughing hysterically because she was the main recipient of yesterday’s “I am so not playing this Hannah woman whoever she is and here’s my reasons why” rant.
Cest la vie.
Good news: I crushed her by 170 points! That’s right little girl, Scrabble is a grownups game! Go. Play. Boggle.
And in unrelated news: I am SO EXHAUSTED I think I’m going to bed at 8 pm.

Pfft.
I kicked someone’s ass in chess last night.
Of course, she didn’t know how to play chess, which always make things easier.

I must say that your wishy washy morals are such the hallmark of a liberal.

How is that wishy-washy morals? The rules were the rules. It was up to Dawn to grant a reprieve from the rules or not, based on whatever criteria she wanted to. She decided to cut a kid a break, even though she didn’t have to.

Boy am I glad I went easy on you in our “scrabble” game on facebook. Next time, its no more Mr. Nice Guy!

I note for anyone reading this that Dawn beat me by north of 300 points.

Oh, danny, there was no need to qualify that. Everyone who reads my blogs knows that no one who reads my blog can beat me at Scrabble…without copious amounts of cheating, and even then it’s not for sure…
