I need a moral compass…
So my current game is against a lady that has been delayed due to the storm. Under the rules if she doesn’t get here in the next twenty five minutes, I win. The director has requested that in the spirit of…er…goodwill or something, I agree to play a makeup game with her instead of taking my win. Now, this is the same director that when I just asked him if I can go back to my room and be called if my opponent shows in the next twenty-five minutes was all “No, I can’t be responsible for that. Just stay here.” (Yah cause “directing” a Scrabble tournament is SOOO taxing.) So what do guys say I do? I am currently 1-2. 2-2 sounds pretty good to me and it’s not like I got cut any slack when I overslept and showed up to a tournament 26 minutes late missing my windown by ONE minute. Of course, I will likely become the story of legends if I refuse to play…and not one of the good legends either…

So she is 0-3 already? If not, what kind of excuse is “the storm”? Forfeit her.

Your moral compasses all seem to point due South. Sorry about that.

Well I decided to decide after my last game and since I lost it, that lady is sasat. Plus, since that director made me sit there for the whole hour anyway, double sasat. three losses. two wins!
thank you for playing.

Did the director know you’re a lawyer?
