Or, he could have shown that he was willing to put himself on the line for someone (or something) whose initials aren’t BHO.

Dawn is sensing the inherent weenieness of the narcissistic Left’s favorite narcissist. My guess is we’re going to all get to see a lot more of it. Although I must insert my standard pre-January 20th caveat that I hope like hell that I’m wrong.

Maybe his new basketball court will help relieve his stress. Apparently, he’s ALREADY so stressed out that he’s developed a nervous tic.

That may be true, Jake, but people who would not vote for a Republican if the only other candidate on the ballot was Charles Manson do not like Sarah Palin. Therefore, Sarah Palin is obviously a bad choice for Republicans because she is so unpopular.

All I was saying Gib, was that a lot of otherwise serious people were being very, very silly. I think climbing so close to 60 gave some Democrats hypoxia. Obama was wise to stay far away; if he showed up in Georgia, at least one idiot with a significant platform would have claimed Chambliss’ win was proof of… i don’t know … but something anti-Obama.

When Young Jeezy can’t swing an election, we as a nation are all poorer for it.

And Ugarles is right, of course. Absolutely no serious Democratic or left-leaning websites or pundits talked up Jim Martin winning because everyone hates Republicans now. With the exception of roughly all of them. Hell, I saw a Jim Martin ad at 11:15 last night. When some people get the Hope & Change bug, they get it bad.

That all being said, if your state’s elections ended prior to yesterday, I hate you.

Martin never had a chance. That anyone pretended this was a close call was silly. Chambliss got 49.999999999999999999999999999% of the vote when Obama was ON the ballot.

That said, I hope all Republicans think as Jake does. Palin 2012!!!

If the Democrats take 60 seats in the Senate, what are they gonna say when some pressure group or other wonders why its pet legislation didn’t go through? I don’t think they want a filibuster-proof majority. I wouldn’t either if staying in office was more important than the agenda.

My big disillusionment with the Republicans came when they had the presidency and both houses of Congress and didn’t show any interest in actually passing the agenda they’d been running on for two decades.
