Not so random thought
I was watching an interview with some Republican strategist bigwig and he said that Republicans always give the nomination to the guy who came in second the last time around. I then made the observation that Democrats give our nominees one shot; if they miss, next.

Remember the old saying Dawn. Democrats want to fall in love, Republicans want to fall in line. Its tough to fall in love with the guy/chick you rejected already. Gore won the nomination in 2000 after losing in 88, but given the 2-term VP thing, that truly is the exception that proves the rule. As hopefully HRC will be in 2016.

Yeah, I don’t see Hillary running in 2016. She’ll be 68, for one thing.
