I believe you do remember everything said to you as you have a fantastic memory.
This is a serious question. Don’t you wish sometimes that you did not have your mind cluttered with everything said to you?

No, but mostly because I’m afraid the universe would punish me with Alzheimer’s or a brain tumor. But sometimes I do envy the blissful ignorance of those who don’t remember anything they did the previous week.

The reason that older people are happier than younger people is that they remember the good things and forget the bad things in life.
For instance as to our relationship, I forget that you are a Democrat but remember all the good times we have had together.
