Why did Barack Obama show up early to his own convention? Dude, Clinton released the delegates…chillax, you got this, brah.
Say what you want about Barack Obama, he’s taller than John McCain.
Am I the only one who feels the need to say “southSIIIDE” like the member of a hiphop entourage everytime someone mentions that Michelle Obama grew up on the Southside of Chicago or that Barack went to work on the Southside after law school?
Bill Clinton’s speech left me cold. I mean, he said all the right things, but I just didn’t care. Hillary set the bar too high…I’m so worried about Obama’s speech tomorrow.
Oh, but hey, who doesn’t have a presumptive nominee anymore? Thaaaaaatttttt’s right! USA USA USA….I mean, O-ba-ma O-ba-ma. Dang, Olympics.
Obaden? Obiden? Obamiden? I’ll get back to you.
Eliot: They let Bill Clinton go.
John: Yeah…and I have better hair.
McCain admits opposing MLK day was a ‘mistake’
“We can be slow as well to give greatness its due, a mistake I made myself long ago when I voted against a federal holiday in memory of Dr. King. I was wrong and eventually realized that, in time to give full support for a state holiday in Arizona.”
John McCain then added “at the time I was not running for President.”
Dad can’t remember how many houses he has, daughter can’t remember how many children he has.
The picture book is aimed at those too young to vote, but may rub off on their parents, or on the career of Miss McCain, who has just graduated and has been writing a popular blog from the campaign trail.
It chronicles her father’s life, including getting poor marks at the US Naval Academy and being shot down as a naval pilot over Vietnam, but contains a noticeable omission. Miss McCain leaves out the fact that her father was married before he went to war, and that he left his first wife Carol Shepp for Cindy Hemsley, her mother.
“After he got home, my dad met and married my mom, Cindy,” she writes.
Miss McCain mentions her two younger brothers and her adopted Bangladeshi sister, but not the two sons her father adopted in his first marriage or Sydney, the daughter he had with his first wife.
