So, I tried to make shrimp teriyaki last night and I set the frying pan on fire. This is perfectly normal, right?
Update: My mother’s comment: “Did you follow the recipe?”

Was the actual pan on fire? If so, you might want to refrain from cooking with thermite in the future.
OTOH, if it was just a plastic/wood handle or somesuch, invest in some cast iron cookware; nearly impossible to actually destroy, and you’re guaranteed to get your required iron intake.
