Not so random question

So, I tried to make shrimp teriyaki last night and I set the frying pan on fire. This is perfectly normal, right?

Update: My mother’s comment: “Did you follow the recipe?”

Yeah…don’t really think that was the problem…

You probably just thought the burnt shrimp was fragrant and yummy because you’re missing a gall bladder. I’ll hahahaha you.

And I didn’t burn anything. I just set the pan on fire. before the shrimp even got involved.

How’s that whole “poop volcano” business?

Was the actual pan on fire? If so, you might want to refrain from cooking with thermite in the future.

OTOH, if it was just a plastic/wood handle or somesuch, invest in some cast iron cookware; nearly impossible to actually destroy, and you’re guaranteed to get your required iron intake.

    Yep. Actual pan on fire.
