May white hands receive him…
in the fiery, fiery pits of hell.
Jesse Helms, the former North Carolina senator with the courtly manner and mossy drawl who turned his hard-edged conservatism against civil rights, gay rights, foreign aid and modern art, died early Friday. He was 86.

Once again, you remove all doubt. Helms was a patriot who championed the defense of this nation, and the constitution, when patriotism wasn’t cool. To the extent that he opposed special rights for aggrieved fucktards, it was because he understood that granting special rights to some, diminishes the rights of all.

Casca is right. I can prove it. Here’s a quote from Mr. Helms, from 1985, which should illustrate just how cool he was:
“I’ve been portrayed as a caveman by some. That’s not true.
I’m a conservative progressive, and that means I think all men
are equal, be they slants, beaners or niggers.”
What a hero.

“slants, beaners or niggers”
Isn’t that what’s in an “Irish breakfast”?

“If the measure of a man is the degree of hatred, slander and lies heaped upon him by the very worst elements of society, then Helms was a great man.” The lawyer/liars among us, the worst.

Not so much “special” rights, just the regular ones we’re all supposed to get. Just some of us have to fight harder than others for them.

Killing Jesse Helms was meant to mark the start of Dawn’s Birthday Season.
Happy Birthday, little one.

Bullshit P, only in your fevered liberal imagination.
