Everyone needs to make their own mistakes, and sometimes we find out it wasn't a mistake at all. Sometimes they learn something. But if they are about to jump off a roof into the great abyss and really hurt themselves, then it's worth a try to stop a really really big mistake from happening. "I told you so" isn't always all it's cracked up to be. Guess it depends if it is something they really *need* to hear, or if it is just something you want them to hear?
