I heart New Yorkers
So, evidently, there’s a party in the City every month that is exclusively for people who were raised in NYC. It’s password protected and you have submit a questionnaire to get accepted and receive the password.
Karol sent me this FAQ from their website and I haven’t stopped laughing.
Q: “I grew up in New Jersey, isn’t that pretty much the same as NY?”
- Johnny, Teaneck, NJ.
A: “No, you must be smoking crack.”
Q: “A whole group of us moved to NY after college, like 10 years ago, so we’re officially New Yorkers, right?”
- Pam, Detroit, MI (but actually from a suburb 30 miles from Detroit).
A: See above

Fair enough, but I don’t want to see y’all here in Phoenix when you’re 50 trying to pull the ol’ “We’ve been here 5 minutes, but we wear cowboy boots and have a pink coyote statue in our living room, so we’re natives, right?” b.s.

Phoenix? Good gawd, a liberal zonie. One of the things I like about AZ… you can throw your .45 up on the dash, and it’s perfectly legal, as it should be everywhere.
