Clareified

I call my mom this afternoon to find out how she’s doing. She whispers into the phone for a good minute and a half. It takes me a few seconds, but I realize she’s speaking Spanish. After she’s done, I say “yeah, it’s your child who doesn’t speak Spanish.”
