Hillary ‘08

Hillary scores huge wins in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts (suck it, lesser Kennedys). I’m exhausted and about to crash, but Clinton is currently leading in California, so I’m just going to cross my fingers and pray for no Election Day 2000 nightmare, if and when I wake up.
Here are my quick thoughts.
Hillary is way more viable on the national stage than Obama. Yeah, she’s a chick, but the last decade of the right demonizing her as the manish “co-President” will work for us here. Obama may have won ten states tonight, but four of them are states Democrats won’t win in the general, so his victory is meaningless. Hillary held the Kerry states —which plus Ohio or Florida — is what we need to take the White House in ‘09.
Mccain seems to similarly have the Obama problem, sure he won in New York, Connecticut, Illinois and New Jersey and Connecticut, but his failure to take any of the Southern states, should give us some hope that maybe southern conservatives will stay home in disgust and we might pull out some surprising wins.
Ugh, can Chris Matthews go thirty second without flapping his jaw? Okay, California is still not up yet, but here’s to you New York: good job!
Oh don’t think I didn’t notice that Senator Douchebag’s state went for Obama…jeebus, CT when did you become less than Massachusetts?
(Oh, and congrats, pearatty. Well done…now participate in your myspace page, so we can move you on up to facebook.)
Holy crap, did McCain just thank his mother?? As in a live mother?…ooh…Obama steps on McCain’s acceptance speech…Dyam! Okay, I’m going to bed now before this turns into a live blog.

I thought that Obama speech was pretty creepy all things considered.

Your analysis is pretty weird. You think the southern states are going to go for Hillary over McCain because they chose Huckabee in the primary? Don’t think so. Primary and general are very different beasts.

Karol knows all…haha!haha! I’m sorry I just had to say that. I was surprised by how many people voted for Hilary to be honest. On the national stage I don’t see her as that important to be honest….i think Bill carries a lot of that and who are you voting for…Hil or bil

Walked into the Cali polls yesterday to throw one to Mitt, and the R judge informed me that the process was closed to all but registered R’s. I’ve been flying under the radar as a non-partisan. “Fair enough,” I said. “Let me have the D ballot. I’ll give Hillary a push… right off the curb!” The dour old lady D judge didn’t like that so much. Mwahahahaha

Wait a minute, Hilldabeast won, but Bronco Bomber has more delegates than her filthiness now, plus he won more states? The law is a wondrous and confusing profession.

Yeah, Dawn, you may have posted a little prematurely. From Politico:

She lost the delegate derby. Pure and simple, this is a war to win delegates, one that might not be decided until this summer’s Democratic convention.

And when the smoke cleared this morning, it appeared that Barack Obama had ended up with slightly more delegates in the 22 states.

Obama’s campaign says the senator finished ahead by 14 delegates.

With results still coming in, Clinton’s campaign says the candidates finished within five or six delegates of each other. Either way, Super Tuesday was essentially a draw.

Clinton may still hold the edge overall, but Obama is closing in rapidly.

And Karol does indeed know all. I predicted McCain all through the Spring and Summer and was told that was impossible by everyone.

Oh and here’s the “Hillary should worry” link: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0208/8363.html

Thx for the props. When did the comments section here become a conservative love fest?

  9. Casca Says:

    Not nearly soon enough.

Hmmmm, Hildabeast continues to bleed from the rectum. This is pretty cool. The leadership of both parties are disconnected from their respective bases. I can’t wait until the Superdelegates pick the hag over Obama. Stake in the heart of their base.
