HAHAHAHHAHAAH

New Facebook group:

Group Info Name: I Went To a Small, Expensive, and Snobbish Private School

Description: Our school had a coat of arms and a very intersting latin motto.

We’re mostly from the East Coast near a large city. During high school we knew everyone’s buisness, we knew exactly what went down every Saturday night. The linkages drawn through hook-ups touched just about everyone outside of the band kid.

People drove sport utility vehicles, or Saabs. They drove REALLY fast in the parking lot because that was COOL. However because of the fast driving, and because our classmates frequently drove stoned, high or drunk, there were accidents on a weekly basis. Many kids wrecked three cars in their high school years.

Almost always there was a chapel or a chapel-like place. We would go there to listen to very interesting talks, but mostly to sleep.

Diversity was loudly proclaimed, but minorities were obviously a token presence.

Lacrosse was the most popular sport, and a lot of kids played football. However despite the tough talk the teams were never very good. The kids who still play sports in college probably row.

Boys sometimes ordered things from Lilly Pulitzer, but in that unique prep school social dynamic this usually made them MORE rather than LESS cool.

Yeah we wore blazers, yeah we wore ties, yeah we led really sheltered lives, but by god we were cool and we knew it!

I guess I was the band kid. I have no idea what a Lilly Pulitzer is.

    I bet Dawn doesn’t either.
