I am mercilessly mocked in the poker blogging world for my firm belief that there are some days that you just shouldn’t play poker because the very month itself is out to get you. Well, I have to say I think September was trying to get me, not just in poker, but in life. There was nothing it didn’t throw at me, and really there were somedays when I thought it would finally swallow me. Yeah, that whole Mets collapse thing? Just September, trying to break me. (Sorry, Kearns.) But AHA! October 1st! I made it! Suck it, September…well, unless you’ve got some September/October alliance going…then…umm…good September…shhh…nothing to see here.
