    I’m surprised no one mentioned this, but if I were in that nursing home, I’d be like, “get that cat the hell away from me!”

    M.E. Kerr wrote this story once about how people start giving off an odor when they are dying . . . this cat makes me think it’s true.

    I love the nursing home in Peter’s vision: the cat sidles up next to Max, then a chandelier falls on his head. Then the cat brushes against Ella and she starts choking on her Vicodin. And all of the seniors get panicked but are too weak to move.

    And that’s when the cat’s fun really begins.
