Russia Watch

In a clear reference to the United States, he harshly criticized “imperialism” in global affairs and warned that Russia will strengthen its military potential to maintain a global strategic balance.

“It wasn’t us who initiated a new round of arms race,” Putin said when asked about Russia’s missile tests at a news conference after talks in the Kremlin with Greek President Karolos Papoulias.

I got stuck talking to this total moron Russian guy last night who was telling me that it was a shame that Russia and Germany didn’t join forces during WWII and defeat Britain. And also that once Russia kills 20 million Americans, it will finally rule the world. I told him he was defending history’s losers and basically tried not to spit in his face (the Holocaust didn’t really happen either and it was the fault of the Jews that WWII began at all).
