501-400
“Wait…who has 501?” -Dawn

I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won, I won!
Straight up, no handicaps, no races, no dictionary…won.
It’s probably unsportsmanlike to spike the Scrabble board and ask your defeated opponent to pose for pictures with the winning board and sign the lost dollar.
I now take this opportunity to retire from the world of competitive Scrabble.

Holy crap. Did you draw “zephyrs” out of the bag to start the game?

What the hell happened to my comment?

Game, set, match, Dawn.

Yes, yes I did, Chugarte. However, he then played wintered to reduce my zephyrs lead to a mere 20 point one…

Fisch, you can expect that this post will be made sticky and sit atop the blog for all time.
Dawn has come a long way from when this board wouldn’t have had “KI”‘ Fisch could have dumped his “I” to make “ZEPHYRSIPAVE” and Dawn would have been afraid to challenge.

I think what Chugarte is trying to say is - Fisch, you’ve created a monster.

zephyrsipave IS a valid word. Shhhhh.
March 27th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
You guys are obviously playing nonstandard rules with some language that closely resembles English.
Voe? Viber? What the fuck is a viber? Or is that Dawn shorthand for the special friend she keeps in her nightstand!?!?
And this is the second time I’ve seen KI on one of your Scrabble games. What dictionary are you using? Webster’s Random Roots and Foreign Words for People Willing to Do Anything to Win at Scrabble: Fifth Edition?

zephyrs, seriously? that’s fantastic. I just got a little thrill when I saw that word on your board. That’s like, a dream word to pull out of the bag. Congratulations. Oh, I’m such a nerd.

I used to know a guy who memorized the answers to the trivial pursuit questions. He’d be good at scrabble. LOL, I still beat him though. He was a rockhead.
