My dear, it all depends on what you’re trying to catch. Got a yen to sit on an icy lake? I’d recommend against it. Of course if you want to land a swordfish. You can hop a flight to Cabo San Lucas where it’s usually 80 degrees in January, and the bars are hoppin’. Your fishing guides will want you to be at the dock before first light. In the eternal words of Jerry Seinfeld, “Good luck with that.” lmao

My guess is that it starts after the East River thaws. Why the hell would you have wanted to go fishing yesterday? I didn’t want to go outside at all.
