Shucks. The Mets lost. I sure enjoyed the game, though. Sorry, but I have to pull for the Tigers now. If the Cardinals win, then my Royals will no longer have the most recent Series title in the I-70 rivalry. That’s the only trump card I have left to pull on all these darn Cardinals fans.

The catch by Chavez was amazing and would have been even more spectacular if the Mets had managed to score a freaking run after that. They had at least two solid opportunities (6th inning, 9th inning) and couldn’t cash in. Having Floyd and Beltran *both* look at a called strike 3 in the 9th inning was simply inexcusable - I don’t care how wicked those curveballs were.
