Why is Nagin such a moron?
During the CBS “60 minutes” interview, a correspondent pointed out flood-damaged cars still on the streets of New Orleans’ devastated Ninth Ward. Nagin replied, “You guys in New York can’t get a hole in the ground fixed, and it’s five years later. So let’s be fair,” according to CBS.

Nagin is complete trash and shame on the fools in NO for re-electing him. But then again, these are the same braintrusts that didn’t bother to move an inch when the floods game. What the hell is wrong with that city?

Actually, I think this is one of the SMARTER things that Nagin has said. Aside from inept politicians, victims-family fetishization and a love for endless bureacracy, New York doesn’t have a frickin excuse. It’s been FIVE YEARS and all they can show for it is a train station (TO JERSEY NO LESS) and an information booth.

Maybe Nagin just wants to keep his city full of water and mud and little else? One step closer to his Chocolate City, right?
He did nothing but whine like a hysterical woman when the floods came, nothing in the year since and he was re-elected. REELECTED. People bitch about Bush? Nagin left his entire city to destruct and drown. He did nothing, just bitch and point bejeweled fingers. That’s just indefensible.
Dragging NY into his argument is so typical of him. Why do something when you can point out what everyone else isn’t doing. Ray Nagin is a good for nothing and shame on his city for not demanding more.
