Cause China is on the Security Council and Israel isn’t?
(And isn’t it recognition of a different sort? The UN recognizes that Taiwan exists — just not as a county anymore — Taiwan actually used to be the Chinese representative at the UN. Hezbollah is recognized, but not as a governmental entity (yet).)

As Dawn will attest to, people from Taiwan ROCK!

All Taiwan needs to do is start killing Jews. U.N.’ll be all up on ‘em in no time.

My wife is originally from Taiwan and she can’t stand China. If the USA is pro democracy, it would then make sense for us to support Taiwan in her desire to break from China.

Taiwan deserves to be in the United Nations and have U.S. diplomatic relations. I had the pleasure of spending almost a month with my old girlfriend visiting her family. I never once encountered anti Americanism, anti-Semitism, or had any problems. I encountered people who love the United States.
As a Jewish American, I was surprised by the friendly questions I received and questions about Israel. I also met people who liked Israel and support her. I was reminded that Israel was one of the countries which recognized Taiwan and had a “relationship” with. Some of the early anti ship missile systems were Israeli in origin.
I would like to see Taiwan gain a seat in the UN, and see their embassy open up in DC.
I, for one, am not surprised the UN recognizes terrorist organizations. This is the same body which equatted Zionism with racism.
Get U.S. out of the U.N., get the U.N. out of the U.S.
Thank you for letting me vent.

All those tens and hundreds of millions of petro-dollars we (”the West”) provide the OPEC nations (predominantly {mooslim} dictatorships) do not go to improving the lives of the citizens of those countries, which is as plain a fact as any on God’s green earth. Therefore plenty of dollars are available for such purposes as to influence politicians, especially in the USA, where the action against them is a-happening.
As has been said before: Follow the money. American politicians who support radical positions should be investigated for accepting contributions from enemies of the USA, which to my mind is treason, and should be prosecuted as such, i.e. with a rope.

Hezbollah needs to be recognized as a terrorist organization and systematically dismantled and/or destroyed.
