No more blogging barefeet in pajamas for me. No Sir. This is now a high class operation. Did you hear that?

Now go put on your shoes. And a shirt.

Hmm…maybe that’s the new tagline! Clareified: No shoes, no shirt, no service! I have left blogger and now am a wordpress person.

WordPress seems friendly enough. My locker’s close to the cafeteria and the seniors completely ignore me. But I like my new teachers and…um…ok…I may have gotten a wee caught up in my metaphors.

I am now hosted on a server. Run by the good people at ficto.com (Fitco.com for all your web hosting needs) (Whoa…where did that come from! -ed.) Anyway, that means I could start having Andrew Sullivan-esque money drives for server costs! I won’t (probably).

But I could(probably).

Anyway, as you can see Hopey didn’t make the trip. Sad. But we might have a new face of Clareified coming as soon as I figure out how to stick pictures in the banner. We’ll call her South Park Dawn.Mostly cause that’s what it would be.

Other housekeeping matters:

We certainly need a new tagline. Since I’ve actually left the ECB and all…it’s time. Chugarte: feel free to use it to your heart’s content! Sucka! I’m kinda partial to keeping the orange so that people aren’t all freaked out by the newness. And by people, I mean me.

Clareified: We hate change. No…that’s not right.

Oh, and before you suggest it, “Clareified: Karol sucks” while true, just doesn’t have the linguistic elegance which a first class blog requires.

(Oh yeah, I dropped some mad polysyllabic words you!)

Speaking of which, I also need a blog beginning with the letter A-AK to blogroll. Suggestions, leads, hints?

I’ve also got space for a snazzy new “about me” section. What’s preferable, a Karol style link to all her personal posts or one of these BOM 100 things about me? I am not that complex or interesting, so I will likely start making up things about my ninja skills around thing number 62, so factor that into your decision.

And finally, change all your links to www. clareified.com 

The master of the universe has it redirecting from the old blogspot address right now, but that might not last. And you don’t want to miss a single moment on your favorite NYC-based orange banner blog.
