Doogie Howser?
That’s just depressing.

As discussed when you first came up with that theory, it’s 12 for you, 17 for everyone else.

At 12, girls are sweetness and light. At 13, girls turn into monsters hated by every adult.
Since you are nothing but sweetness and light, Dawn. I can see why you would say, “Who you are at 12, is who you will always be.”
However, this is more accurate: “Who you are at 25, is who you will always be.”

Oh Jake. You really need to get to know Dawn better.
April 27th, 2006 at 12:34 am
I’m with Jake on this, mid-twenties sounds about right. Twelve is too young.
April 27th, 2006 at 12:57 am
oh, i thought you meant you were with Jake that I am all sweetness and light.

Does that mean I get to weigh what I did when I was 12??
HOO-RAY!
April 27th, 2006 at 1:07 am
that actually would be awesome.

After a little more thought, I believe that dramatic events, both good and bad, can profoundly change you no matter how old you are.
April 27th, 2006 at 6:50 am
Hee hee… yeah, let’s compromise everyone: the weight you were at 12 is the weight you will always (internally) be (note I was a little “over budget” in the weight dept when I was 12, but it adds up well now!) and your True Self is the Self you became in your early 20’s. I like that because, it wasn’t till I was about 24 that I actually saw my father not as a warden but a dear sweet man… and I really wouldn’t want to miss that. Am I getting off topic again? Sheesh, sorry.

I sucked my thumb and had a little cover when I was 12. I guess not much has changed really. It’s just a metaphorical cover these days.
April 27th, 2006 at 2:36 pm
fisch - what’s a cover?
dawn - ha!
April 27th, 2006 at 3:10 pm
dude - I was maybe 105 pounds when I was 12 - my dream of becoming the Human Toothpick could finally be attained
April 27th, 2006 at 4:47 pm
i sucked my thumb at twelve too! I assume a cover is a blankie, I didn’t have one of those, but I did have a baby pillow.
April 27th, 2006 at 5:17 pm
have we officially reached the point of too much information?
April 27th, 2006 at 7:28 pm
I had a blankie, but had given it up by the time I was 12.
April 27th, 2006 at 8:23 pm
I had acne and braces when I was 12 :(. Maybe I shouldn’t relive that age…
April 27th, 2006 at 8:27 pm
I’d hate myself for life if I had to be 12 again.
April 27th, 2006 at 8:40 pm
but you’d weigh the same!
April 27th, 2006 at 10:38 pm
For this post, you get 20 comments? Yeesh.
I got yer discussion right here … When I was 12, I still smiled and was known as a happy person. Now I’m a drunk who spends his free time blogging. YOU DISCUSS!
April 27th, 2006 at 10:49 pm
yeah, JD, I have finally figured out that the number of comments is inversely proportional to the length of my post.
April 28th, 2006 at 12:36 am
Apparently, size DOESN’T matter!
April 28th, 2006 at 2:06 am
of course size doesn’t matter..it’s the girth that counts
April 28th, 2006 at 6:07 am
Dude, are you in the Bahamas too? If not, where the hell is the blogging?
April 28th, 2006 at 2:31 pm
