    Doogie Howser?
    That’s just depressing.

  2. Karol Says:

As discussed when you first came up with that theory, it’s 12 for you, 17 for everyone else.

  3. Jake Says:

At 12, girls are sweetness and light. At 13, girls turn into monsters hated by every adult.

Since you are nothing but sweetness and light, Dawn. I can see why you would say, “Who you are at 12, is who you will always be.”

However, this is more accurate: “Who you are at 25, is who you will always be.”

  4. Karol Says:

Oh Jake. You really need to get to know Dawn better.

  5. petitedov Says:

I’m with Jake on this, mid-twenties sounds about right. Twelve is too young.

  6. dawn summers Says:

oh, i thought you meant you were with Jake that I am all sweetness and light.

  7. Emerald Says:

Does that mean I get to weigh what I did when I was 12??

  8. dawn summers Says:

    that actually would be awesome.

  9. Jake Says:

After a little more thought, I believe that dramatic events, both good and bad, can profoundly change you no matter how old you are.

  10. Gertie Says:

Hee hee… yeah, let’s compromise everyone: the weight you were at 12 is the weight you will always (internally) be (note I was a little “over budget” in the weight dept when I was 12, but it adds up well now!) and your True Self is the Self you became in your early 20’s. I like that because, it wasn’t till I was about 24 that I actually saw my father not as a warden but a dear sweet man… and I really wouldn’t want to miss that. Am I getting off topic again? Sheesh, sorry.

I sucked my thumb and had a little cover when I was 12. I guess not much has changed really. It’s just a metaphorical cover these days.

  12. petitedov Says:

    fisch – what’s a cover?
    dawn – ha!

  13. Alceste Says:

dude – I was maybe 105 pounds when I was 12 – my dream of becoming the Human Toothpick could finally be attained

  14. dawn summers Says:

i sucked my thumb at twelve too! I assume a cover is a blankie, I didn’t have one of those, but I did have a baby pillow.

  15. The Human Toothpick Says:

have we officially reached the point of too much information? :)

  16. Pearatty Says:

I had a blankie, but had given it up by the time I was 12.

  17. Emerald Says:

    I had acne and braces when I was 12 :(. Maybe I shouldn’t relive that age…

  18. Drizztdj Says:

I’d hate myself for life if I had to be 12 again.

  19. dawn summers Says:

    but you’d weigh the same!

  20. JD Says:

For this post, you get 20 comments? Yeesh.
I got yer discussion right here … When I was 12, I still smiled and was known as a happy person. Now I’m a drunk who spends his free time blogging. YOU DISCUSS!

  21. dawn summers Says:

yeah, JD, I have finally figured out that the number of comments is inversely proportional to the length of my post.

  22. JD Says:

    Apparently, size DOESN’T matter!

  23. Emerald Says:

of course size doesn’t’s the girth that counts 😉

  24. Karol Says:

Dude, are you in the Bahamas too? If not, where the hell is the blogging?

  25. dawn summers Says:

at twelve i was a lazy kid, with a short attention span. go figure
