You know, if Danish-cartoon style riots started over this little display of artistic expression - to paraphrase Chris Rock - I wouldn’t approve, but I’d understand.

Ha ha ha. Esther is making Gertie laugh. She said Vomit. However, my concern is more with the fact that this sculpture is of a) a SEXUAL position, not a BIRTHING position (jeez, didn’t anyone see Dances With Wolves? Now THAT’S a birthing position!); and b) what’s with the grizzly bear head? Or polar bear? All this from the girl who put herself through college by working in the post-partum department of the local horsepistol (for all you non-hospitals and non-latin speakers, that’s “after birth”), so there.

There was a whole discussion on some other website about how this is actually supposed to be one possible birthing position — it relieves tension on the back. And I think the guy who did the statute was joking.
