Dudes, Mike Meyers is, oh, woops, I’m confusing him with the other SNL comedian, er, uh, the one who was the co-star of 100 million dates with Adam Sandler and Drew B. Hmm what’s his name (sorry, guy). Anyway, the guy I’m thinking of gave me his chair at Betelnut in SF which was quite nice of him, but I did notice he was short in stature and big in generosity. Again, this has nothing to do with Mike Meyers. Jeez, I’m lame.

Great post, Dawn, but I think I’ve lectured you before about Magnolia cupcakes. They’re overrated filth and the stuff that comes from Betty Crocker box mix tastes better. And don’t even get me started on that cloyingly oversweet “frosting.” But hey, if you want to stand in line for an overprice cupcake, go right ahead.
Now, their banana puddin’ on the other hand. That’s pretty damn good.

Also - you forgot that Mike Meyers was there - he passed through on the way to the hidden VIP room. Ironically, he was not there for my party, but “Brian’s” friend, Michael’s girlfriend, Rebecca’s sister is dating Mike Meyers. Michael and Rebecca wer at the party, but did not invite Mike. Weird, eh?

2. Now, aside from the Magnolias cupcakes, Venieros is probably the very best dessert food my fine city has to offer.
You are very close. Veniero’s is across the street from the best dessert place in town, DiRoberti’s.
