QUICK QUESTIONS

QUICK QUESTIONS

Anybody else working late to avoid being annoyed by trick or treaters?

Huh. Is that the first step to curmudgeonhood or one of the middle steps?

In years past I’ve come up with reasons to be out of the house.. tonight I plan to just not answer the door if anyone comes, which is unlikely anyway.

Hmm…I just get the feeling my block is one of those touchy feely ‘get-to-know-the-neighbors-and-pretend-we-live-in-suburbia’ kinda places.

  3. Ugarte Says:

If I had known this was your attitude I’d have egged your door.

  4. dawn summers Says:

    hahahahahaha

  5. Karol Says:

Yeah, seriously, Ronnie, Gus and James still might.

  6. Jake Says:

I go out on Halloween trick or treating so I am never home to answer the trick or treaters’ knock.

  7. dawn summers Says:

That’s probably the best way to do it…what’re you going as this year?

That’s what you get for moving to the upper east side.

  9. dawn summers Says:

    Fo sho.

    Martha Stewart behind bars

Back in my day, we knew whether to knock on a door by whether they had Holloween decorations up. My parents wouldn’t let us knock on the others. It was like an unspoken agreement. Put up decorations, get kids knocking. Don’t, and you can spend a quiet evening watching reruns of L&O.

  12. Karol Says:

And stop using my ‘fo sho’. You made fun of it the first 10 times you heard it.

  13. dawn summers Says:

it works in print, not in voice.

  14. Jake Says:

Change from ‘fo sho’ to you betcha. It has more class at least in Minnesota it does.

  15. Karol Says:

    hahaha.

No, the first step is admitting everybody else has a problem.
