YAY!! NO MORE FEEDING THE PARKING METERS ON SUNDAY
YAY!! NO MORE FEEDING THE PARKING METERS ON SUNDAY
City Council passes ‘ban’ on ‘pay to pray’ suspending meter rules on Sunday. Hmm…don’t Jewish people pray on Saturday? I think we need to suspend meters on Saturday too, just to be fair.
Wait and Jehovah’s Witnesses pray on Friday right? And Muslims pray like every day, don’t they?
No Pay to Pray Any Day!!! No Justice, No Peace!

er, if you’re a jew you aren’t supposed to drive on saturdays

But you need to leave your car somewhere, kaz. Park it Friday after the meters hypothetically end and leave it through Shabbos. And Sunday.

Yeah! Because you’re not allowed to touch money so you can’t feed the meter!

hmmm. tough to find a meter anywhere that ends before sundown in winter, but perhaps seasonally it could work.

I think many religions pray every day, not just Muslims. But our day to congregate and pray together is Friday. (Although theoretically nothing stops anyone from praying all 5 daily prayers at the Mosque)
I just don’t understand why there isn’t more parking available. More cities should build large parking decks and drive down the price of all parking.
