Where does the good go

Author divorces man who inspired ‘How Stella Got Her Groove Back’ after learning he is gay.

My favorite part: In response, Plummer maintained McMillan treated him with “homophobic” scorn bordering on harassment since he came out to her as gay just before Christmas.

I’m guessing he should be thanking his lucky stars that that’s all she treated him to.

Hmmm…do any white people know who she is?

“Hmmm…do any white people know who she is?”

Anyway, it’s not homophobic scorn, it’s liarphobic scorn. How embarassing for her.

  2. Gib Says:

Yeah, she’s the reason I sad to sit through a crummy Whitney Houston movie a few years ago.

  3. Karol Says:

I know who she is but it’s probably because of you.

I’m one of those ‘not that there’s anything wrong with that’ people on homosexuality but if it was my spouse that came out he definitely shouldn’t be expecting any kind of sympathy or understanding. It would be the same as a straight spouse keeping a huge secret. I’d kill ‘im.

  4. Yaron Says:

Wasn’t that a plot point in “Waiting to Exhale”? I seem to recall seeing about the first 15 minutes of that movie and one of those women’s husbands told her he was gay and then left her.

  5. Dawn Summers Says:

it was a plot point for Loretta devine’s character.

  6. Pearatty Says:

Was that in the book? I remember the corporate climber guy leaving his wife for a white woman.

  7. Pearatty Says:

Oh, wait, that was in waiting to exhale, not the stella one.

  8. Jake Says:

Here is a story of a man that every woman would want to kill. This happened about 15 years ago.

This guy divorced his wife saying that he was gay. After a few gay affairs, he decided that he was a woman in a man’s body. So he had his penis removed.

After some affairs with hetro guys, he decided that he was a lesbian. So he had some lesbian affairs. Then he decided that he was a heterosexual after all. He had a penis created so that he that he could be a man again.

Once he had healed, he went back to his wife and told her that he wanted to marry her again.

  9. Dawn Summers Says:

waiting to exhale involved four women, so there was the one who was left for a white woman, the one who was left for a man, the pretty one and whitney houston.

  10. Pearatty Says:

Huh, I’d completely forgotten the plot lines except for the white woman one and the hairdresser one. Mostly, the book irritated me because I think McMillan’s fattist and it was all about finding your inner peace by hooking up with the right guy.
