Princess Anon- Amy Poehler presenting the number 0 (the # of WMDs found) as evidence against Condi Rice was hilarious.

Karol- I don’t know how many people remember who voted against Ashcroft in 2000, but I do know that my senators voted against him, because I sent them letters of thanks. I didn’t get a response… it seems like in Washington they only write back if it’s a complaint. (I wrote to Sen. Moynihan in 1998 concerning the treatment of women in Afghanistan and got a nice letter back.)

no Obama on that list? wtf?

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) took her opposition to Condoleezza Rice to a new front: She has used it in a fundraising pitch to Democratic donors.

The pitch went out Tuesday evening. On behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Boxer referred to Rice’s “misleading statements leading up to the war in Iraq and beyond,” and implored donors to “put the brakes on four more years of misdirection in Iraq and reckless policies at home” by helping elect more Democrats next year.

Glad to see you can include Robert Byrd in your profiles in courage. Too bad Strom Thurmond’s not around anymore. I’m sure he would have made the list as well.

And perhaps Hillary voted yes because a) she’s serious about national security and b) she’s politically smarter than these other idjits.

If Clinton’s nominated, she’ll face the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS Kerry had. She voted for the war, so she can’t argue against it, she voted for the patriot act… We need someone who isn’t coming from the Senate, because they either have these inherent contradictions, or they’re percieved as leftist obstructionists.
Anyone know any good governors?

no, but dole had more obvious liabilities and bush was an outsider. I warn you though, if we put money on it, I will personally make it my mission that Clinton answer for it. I will write letters.
