Good lord, that article was horrible. She “could” become a spokesperson for donor egg people; she “could” shed light on the issue. What the f***? It’s her personal life. If Mr. Pearatty goes into politics, is it suddenly my responsibility to be the spokesperson for people with poor self-control regarding Ben & Jerry’s?
Also, as I recall, the Guiness book of World Records when I was growing up had the world’s oldest mother at 52 or something (long before they had fancy “fertility treatments”). It may be unlikely, but it’s certainly not impossible that Elizabeth used her own eggs.
