Instead of debates, or in addition to, each candidate should have to sit down to an hour-long interview by a reporter of the other candidate’s choosing.

I would totally watch this. Who would you want interviewing Bush? My suggestions to interview Kerry in no particular order:
1. Rich Lowry
2. George Will
3. Bill from INDC Journal

I’m going to drag out my old saw-horse: they should both be forced to take written exams about their positions without help from handlers.
You’d think this would hurt Bush. Then again, among the many records not released by Kerry are his grades.

Considering that O’Reilly congratulated Bush for consenting to an interview without being told the questions in advance, I’m thinking this ain’t gonna happen any time soon.

I don’t know, I guess Jon Stewart, which I know, is just sad. Maybe Katty Kay from the BBC…

Dawn, no way. You have to unleash The Dan on Dubya. But without CBS control. Just Dan and Dubya, one on one. That’d be vicious.

Josh Marshall? David Corn? Will Saletan? I can think of a lot of people that would tie Bush up in knots.
Rich Lowry is a good choice to question Kerry. Deroy Murdock (sp?) is another.
