ASH WEDNESDAY
ASH WEDNESDAY
“By the labor of your hand you shall eat food until you return to the dust from which you were created, because dust you are, and to dust you will return; but from the dust you are destined to arise to render an account and a reckoning of all you have done, on the day of great judgment.”
-— Genesis 3:19
I love that today you can tell who all the practicing Catholics in the world are! Hello out there!

Not really. They might stop for the imposition of ashes on the way home after work. And Lutherans also impose ashes on Ash Wednesday.
It really is hard to pick the Catholics out, now that no one wears Miraculous Medals anymore, a cross is a pop-tart fashion accessory, and Evangelicals fly anti-abortion bumper-stickers. I had no idea there were so many Catholics in Congress until I saw a list of Catholic Reps and Sens who are pro-abortion.
